The Georgian State Hydrographic Service attended IHO trainings

Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia LEPL “Georgioan State Hydrographic Service “ Navigational Telex (NAVTEX) radio operator participated on MSI (Maritime Safety Information) trainings held in Istambul. Trainings were organized by International Hydrographic Organization. Georgia's accession to the International Hydrographic Organization as full member country is very important for educational field as well as Georgian State Hydrographic Service implements modern systems and technologies for improvement of quality of safety of navigation in Georgia and besides non existing educational institutions in Georgia , there is a lack of qualified personnel , but international Hydrographic Organization supports qualifications and trainings of Georgian State Hydrographic Staff at training centers abroad. It is noteworthy , that it is second times when IHO has carried all expenses for trainings for employee of Georgian State Hydrographic Sevice. IHO plans to provide various skill upgrading trainings in the future for personnel of Georgian State Hydrographic Service.
